I am Annie Skambis form Orlando, Florida, and I just completed the 2005 HOBY World Leadership Congress in Washington, D.C. I had the most amazing time of my life. The people I met in this program have made an impression on me that will last a lifetime. I have been inspired to make a difference in the world, all because of this wonderful program. Thank you so much for supporting HOBY, and helping to make a difference in our lives here at HOBY.

My name is Jakob Thonia and I'd like to express my gratitude for your support of the HOBY World Leadership Congress. I am a HOBY Ambassador form Berlin, Germany and especially appreciate the international flavor of HOBY. I feel privileged to share such an experience with so many young and passionate people, some of them that may become friends for life. I will surely stay involved with HOBY to facilitate this experience for future leaders and I hope you will do the same.

HOBY Hugs,
Jakob Thonia

This week has been OUTSTANDING! It was your hard work that has made this experience possible for the ambassador. I hope to stay involved with HOBY. I appreciate your dedication to the HOBY program.

Sincerely,
Benjamin Billups

Thank you so much for sponsoring a HOBY ambassador. All of the ambassadors have really made this a great week. Especially since there are ambassadors for all over the world, not only do we get to learn and develop leadership skills, but we also get to learn about different cultures. After this week, I know I will always want to be associated with HOBY and I hope you will want to be too!

HOBY Hugs,
Brandon LaValley, Texas

"United we stand, divided we fall."-this is the motto I learned from the American History Memorial. Being a representative of Taiwan, it's a great experience to share it with the people coming from different countries. Just because of your sponsorship I can make it become the most special part of my life.

From HOBY, I learned how to deal with people and make cross-cultural communication. Furthermore, it makes me well informed and it broadens my eyes. I'll bring thing that HOBY taught me back to Taiwan. I strongly believe I can spread the HOBY spirit around Taiwan. You're awesome! You changed my life and also changed the world.

Sincerely yours,
Jerry

I am Juan D. Aristizabal. I am from Colombia. I like to study English in United States the next year because I finished my school. Thank you for helping contribute to my HOBY experience. I love HOBY. HOBY changed my life. I really enjoy all the activities in HOBY.

Thank you so much.
Juan

Hello! My name is Sheena Castueras Hernandez and I recently attended the 2005
World Leadership Conference. I want to thank you for your contributions and your associations with HOBY. When I first attended my state seminar, which was in the Texas Capital area, I was filled with so much knowledge, confidence and belief in myself. Within three days, I learned that if you just believe in yourself, you can do great things. When I came back from WLC I realized WLC was just an extended HOBY, but much better. Not only did it open my eyes to the world problem, but I was able to meet so many people from around the globe. There are so many people who are leaders today because of you. You have made a difference in many people's live and I thank you for that.

Sincerely,
Sheena C. Hernandez
TX Capital Representative

First of all, I want to thank you for doing quite a fine job in making this year's WLC possible. Thank you for devoting your time, effort and resources as leadership seminar chair. Truly, this year's WLC would never have been this wonderful without your help.

I really had a fine time at HOBY, WLC 2005. I got the very rare opportunity to bridge the gap between my own culture and that of the other ambassadors. When I get home, I'll be carrying the "burning desire" to lead and serve others. Someday, perhaps I can make a big difference in this world and not all these would be possible without my experience in the WLC 2005. I hope there are more people like you who are ever willing to serve the youth. May god rain his blessing on you.

Sincerely,
Paul Jiao
